Musée Champollion
Located in Figeac, the Champollion Museum is dedicated to the legacy of Jean-François Champollion, the famed "Founder and Father of Egyptology" for his breakthrough decryption of the Rosetta Stone and mapping of the hieroglyphic grammatical system. In addition to a fine collection of ancient artifacts and scripts, the museum also operates as a modern center supporting the study of ancient writing.

Musée et Atelier Jean Lurçat
The Jean Lurçat museum and studio is dedicated to the legacy Jean Lurçat (1892 – 1966), a French painter and advant garde tapestry maker in the 20th Century. Achieving great recognition and success during his lifetime, Lurçat obsessed over the castle. He purchased the castle in 1944, splitting his time between Paris and Le Lot until his death. His work, including ceramics, is bright and vivid, full of imagination.
Le Musée Rignault (Saint-Cirq-Lapopie)
Located in the picturesque town of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, the Rignault Museum is dedicated to exhibitions showcasing contemporary art. The museum is housed in the home of art dealer Émile-Joseph (1894-1962) who donated the property (along with its furniture and art) to the General Council of the Lot. In addition to works collected by Rignault himself, the museum feature temporary exhibitions of local and visiting contemporary artists. The home and outside garden offer a stunning view from the edge of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie's cliff.
Le Musée Zadkine
Established in 1988, the Zadkine Museum contains major works by Russian artist Ossip Zadkine (1890 – 1967). Zadkine lived in the village of Les Arques for several years, carving a massive crucifixion which remains on display at the 12th Century church next to the museum. Collected works include direct-cut sculptures, stone and wood, bronzes, terracotta, lithographs, and tapestries.
